On May 10, 2010 the MSUWC, Local 150, and Entergy began negotiations, for the Palisades OM&C working agreement, in earnest.  The parties had met on several previous occasions to identify contract changes related exclusively to the change in ownership between Consumers Energy and Entergy as well as to establish ground rules for the upcoming negotiations.  Negotiations are progressing positively and are scheduled to continue through the end of the month or until a tentative agreement is reached, after which time the Council and Local 150 will hold informational meetings with the membership prior to a ratification vote.  As negotiations progress, updates will be posted.
