In 1996, the delegate body of the Michigan State Utility Workers Council (MSUWC) established the Marshall M. Hicks Memorial Scholarship Program in memory of past Council and National President, Marshall M. Hicks.  Who was he?  Click here for a short bio of this great man and great unionist.

2009 MARSHALL M. HICKS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

In a drawing held on May 1, 2009, the following recipients were selected:

• Jessica Hackett, daughter of Peter Hackett (Local 564-MCV)
• Danielle Ritsema, daughter of Robert Ritsema (Local 150-Kalamazoo)

The Council would like to congratulate Jessica and Danielle, and wishes them well in the future.
