In 1996, the delegate body of the Michigan State Utility Workers Council (MSUWC) established the Marshall M. Hicks Memorial Scholarship Program in memory of past Council and National President, Marshall M. Hicks.  Who was he?  Click here for a short bio of this great man and great unionist.

2011 MARSHALL M. HICKS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

In a drawing held on May 7, 2011, the following recipients were selected:

• Lindsay Biskner, daughter of Phillip Biskner (Local 254-Macomb). 
• Mason Valley, son of Martin Valley (Local 119-Flint/Howell). 

The Council would like to congratulate Lindsay and Mason, and wish them well in the future.
