Late on July 1st, the MSUWC and Consumers Energy reached a Tentative Agreement on the Virtual Call Center Working Agreement.  The current Working Agreement isn't set to expire until August 1, 2010.  However, the parties agreed that negotiations utilizing a Mutual Gains Bargaining approach would include a deadline of July 1st, after which time negotiations would continue through traditional bargaining.  The Tentative Agreement, if ratified, would include a five-year term expiring August 1, 2015.  Information packets detailing the Tentative Agreement will be available for the VCC membership by Friday the July 9th.  Informational and Ratification meetings will be set up over the next three weeks by each Local Union.  A representative from the MSUWC Executive Board will be available for each Local meeting.
