The UWUA members of Local 388-Campbell, located in Port Sheldon, Michigan, proudly wear that message every Thursday while at work. Amid the attacks on public sector employees and the legislating away of collective bargaining rights in Michigan, Local 388 members in the regulated sector feel it is necessary to send a strong message to legislators, and to show their solidarity with all workers - union and non-union alike - by wearing these T-shirts. These shirts, purchased and printed by union shops, are worn to work every Thursday which was designated "solidarity day".
