The Council would like to thank the Local Presidents and PAC representatives for attending the Council's PAC meeting on April 16, 2012.

In addition to the Council's 24 local union presidents and PAC representatives, the meeting was attended by Lobbyist Todd Tennis; State Representatives Kate Segal (62nd District and Democratic Floor Leader), Charles Brunner (96th District), and Phil Cavanaugh (17th District); and Michigan State AFL-CIO President Karla Swift - all of whom addressed the attendees.  The meeting was focused on the anti-worker environment within the state of Michigan, especially within the State Legislature and Executive Branch.  It culminated with discussion, training, and a call-to-action in support of the PROTECT OUR JOBS petition drive and ballot initiative.
