POTTERVILLE — The classroom is inside a 15,000-square-foot building just off Lansing Road in Potterville. Seated at tables inside is a small group of newly-hired Consumers Energy workers, listening as instructor Chris Bodker teaches the basics of meter reading.
Bodker is what staff at the new Consumers Energy Training Center consider an on-the-job field expert who currently works for the electric company.
The center opened last month through an agreement with the Utility Workers Union of America.
