Consumers Energy and OM&C 2010 Negotiations Update #5
· Negotiation activities continue for the OM&C Working Agreement, which expires June 1, 2010. Labor Relations and the MSUWC Executive Council have added more hours to the negotiation schedule to ensure the parties can complete negotiations by April 1, as was done in 2005.
· In addition to discussing options related to benefits and wages, First Table has been reviewing and rating options presented by Option Teams during the week of 2/22.
· Over the next two weeks, letters of agreement, appendix letters and contractual language changes will be generated and agreed upon by both parties for inclusion in the tentative working agreement.
Negotiations updates will be distributed twice per month or as other major milestones are met.
