The MSUWC held its regular Council Meeting on May 7 and 8, 2010 at the Lexington Lansing Hotel.  Photos were taken that we would like to share.

A Resolution of Safety Recognition was presented to the members of Local 347 working at the C W Tippy Hydroelectric Plant.

At a Council Meeting held in Lansing on May 7 and 8, 2010, Resolutions of Safety Recognition were presented by Council President Patrick Dillon to several Locals.

After holding a series of ratification meetings, the tentative agreement between the Utility Workers Union of America, through its Michigan State Utility Workers Council, and Consumers Energy for 2010-2015 has been ratified by the membership.

Late on April 1st, the MSUWC and Consumers Energy reached a Tentative Agreement on the OM&C Working Agreement.

Labor Relations and the MSUWC Executive Council have added more hours to the negotiation schedule to ensure the parties can complete negotiations by April 1, as was done in 2005.
